ICSE Class 10 Study Timetable — 3 Month Plan for Board Exams 2027
The 3-Month Framework
This timetable assumes you've completed your syllabus in school and need 3 months for focused board prep. Adjust timelines if you're starting earlier.
Month 1: Chapter Completion + First Round Notes
Goal: Finish any incomplete chapters and create revision material.
| Week | Focus |
|---|---|
| Week 1 | Maths (Algebra: Quadratics, Ratio) + Physics (Electricity) |
| Week 2 | Maths (Geometry, Mensuration) + Chemistry (Acids, Organic) |
| Week 3 | Biology (Genetics, Nervous System) + History (National Movement) |
| Week 4 | English (Grammar rules, Literature revision) + Geography (Map Work) |
Daily Structure:
- 6:00–8:00 AM: Core subject (Maths/Physics/Chemistry)
- 9:00–11:00 AM: School
- 4:00–6:00 PM: Second subject + chapter-wise mock test
- 8:00–9:30 PM: English/History/Geography reading
Key Rule: Take a chapter mock test the same day you complete studying that chapter.
Month 2: Practice + Weak Area Focus
Goal: Intensive practice. Identify and fix weak chapters.
| Week | Focus |

| Week 5 | Full practice — Maths + Physics (2 chapter tests per day) |
| Week 6 | Full practice — Chemistry + Biology |
| Week 7 | Weak chapters (based on mock test scores) |
| Week 8 | English writing practice + History/Civics revision |
Daily Structure:

Key Rule: Maintain an error log. Every wrong answer gets written down with the correct approach.
Month 3: Exam Simulation + Revision
Goal: Full papers under exam conditions. Memory reinforcement.
| Week | Focus |
|---|---|
| Week 9 | 1 full paper per day (different subject each day) |
| Week 10 | 1 full paper + focused revision of error log |

Subject Time Allocation (Weekly)
| Subject | Hours/Week | Why |

Non-Negotiable Rules
- Sleep 7+ hours — Memory consolidation happens during sleep
- No all-nighters — They hurt more than they help
- Phone away during study — Use a physical timer instead
- One day off per week — Burnout is real; rest days improve retention
- Revise weekly — Spend Sunday reviewing the week's error log
Signs You're On Track
- Mock test scores improving week over week
- Error log getting shorter (fewer repeat mistakes)
- Completing full papers within 2 hours
- Feeling less anxious about unfamiliar questions
